BIOGRAPHY

Anwar Husen is the VP of Sub-Surface and Petroleum Engineering for NESR in Dubai. His career includes roles at Petronas Malaysia as Head of Petroleum Engineering (2017-2023), Cairn India as Asset Director (2013-2017), and BG Group UK as Sub-Surface Director (2005-2013). He began as a field engineer with Schlumberger in 1988. 

Anwar is a lecturer, co-inventor of US Patent US 20060015310 A1, and was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer (2004-2005). He has expertise in reservoir management, production enhancement, well completion, and CCS.
