Lee Smith is the president of Alaskan Energy Resources, a technology-driven oilfield company advancing drilling and completion performance in unconventional plays. With over 30 years of global experience, he has developed and commercialized shale-optimized technologies, including ream-while-drilling systems and swellable packers, and holds more than 30 patents in the U.S. and Canada.

Lee began his career at Schlumberger and has held senior roles across the U.S., Middle East, and South America. He brings deep technical knowledge and field insight to solving complex shale development challenges.
